Build your balance, improve your confidence and learn to prevent falls so you can stay independent.
We’ll show you how at this interactive workshop, at no cost to you.
- Participate in a 30-minute discussion led by the workshop instructor on risk factors for falls, suggestions for making your home safer and how exercise can help reduce your chances of falling.
- Experience a 30-minute exercise class where you’ll learn exercises to help with your balance, agility, strength, power, flexibility and posture. Exercises can be modified to fit your fitness level and ability.
- Receive a workbook to take with you that includes tips, instructions for exercises you can do at home and a home safety checklist.
To participate in a workshop, just wear comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. We look forward to seeing you!
